Corries Solicitors Ltd welcome the decision by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) to allow the use by the NHS of the drug Tagrisso (osmertinib) for non small cell lung cancer patients.

The drug has been shown to be effective in controlling the progression of tumours in the short term. Following an agreement with the drug company a tariff is agreed to allow the drug to be paid using the Cancer Drugs Fund.
